Hospital liquid waste contains Coliform bacteria and various microorganisms. Hospital waste water which contains Coliform bacteria can bring advantages and disadvantages. One way to find out the content of these bacteria is by using the chlorination method. This study aims to analyze the difference in reducing the content of Escherichia coli bacteria by administering chlorine to liquid waste at dr. H. Koesnadi Hospital Bondowoso. This study used a pure experimental approach with a pre and post test control group design. The sample of liquid waste taken was a sample of liquid waste at the Liquid Waste Treatment Plant of RSUD dr. H. Koesnadi Bondowoso, and statistical tests used was One Way Anova. Based on the results of the study each sample was tested in the laboratory by administering Chlorine as much as 0.6 gr/l, 0.8 gr/l, and 1.0 gr/l, it is found that there is a difference in the decrease on the content of Escherichia coli bacteria by administering Chlorine in liquid at dr. H. Koesnadi hospital Bondowoso with a significant value (sig.) < 0.001. References : 15 references (2006-2021) Keywords : escherichia coli bacteria, chlorine, hospital liquid waste.
