Abstract
ABSTRACT Herys Putra Mahardika. 2019. The Correlation of Noise Intensity With Blood Pressure On “Petugas Langsir” in The Kota Baru Station Malang City. Thesis. Noise is one of the most common physical hazard factors in the working environment. Which can cause an impact such as emotional instability or stress. Heavy stress causes the narrowing of the blood vessels, makes the heart pumps blood heavier so that blood pressure will rise and this is called hypertension. Based on the preliminary study conducted on 03 February 2019, it was found that 2 petugas langsir experienced an increase in blood pressure. The purpose of this research is to know the relationship of noise intensity with blood pressure to the petugas langsir at the station Kota Baru Malang. The research method used was analytical correlation with a cross sectional approach. The sample used the total population which were 12 respondents. The sampling techniques used was saturated sampling. The data was analysed using a Pearson Product analysis test to determine the correlations. From the results of the study, the systolic blood pressure p value = 0.022, and the result diastolic blood pressure obtained p value = 0.012 so that it obtained p ≤ 0.05 where the test result is expressed very significant. This means that there correlations between the noise with blood pressure on the curtain petugas langsir at the Kota Baru station Malang. The conclusion on this study is the higher the noise level, the higher the systolic and diastolic blood pressure.
