Water is an element that is difficult to separate from human life. Sources of raw water derived from groundwater are vulnerable to pollution from the use of pesticides, fertilizers and waste. Waste is a pollutant that often causes a decrease in water quality. Waste is managed in various ways, one of which is by stockpiling it in Temporary Shelters (TPS). One of the phenomena that Temporary Disposal Site (TPS) makes an important contribution to environmental pollution is the production of leachate. Leachate that soak and seep to the soil has the potential to cause environmental pollution around the waste temporary shelter. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of distance on Borobudur Temporary Disposal Site (TPS) to the level of Cadmium (Cd) heavy metal contamination in well water. The research design was quantitative with an analytic observational approach using a cross sectional design. The sample in this study were 16 wells which taken by using purposive sampling method based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. Test the effect of Temporary Disposal Site (TPS) distance on the level of cadmium heavy metal contamination in well water used simple linear regression. Statistical test results shows that there is an effect of TPS distance on the level of Cadmium heavy metal contamination in well water with a value of (p=0.000). Based on the research it is concluded that there is an effect of the distance of the Borobudur Temporary Disposal Site (TPS) on the level of Cadmium (Cd) heavy metal contamination in well water.
