Occupational Health and Safety (K3) aims to protect workers when doing work to avoid accidents and improve the health status of workers. Work accidents can be prevented by knowing the risk factors of work. The disease which workers often complain about is low back pain.Low back pain happens to gold shop keepers often occurs due to standing work position and long hours of work. The aim of this study is to determine the effect of standing work position and long working hours towards the complaints of low back pain on workers at the gold shop keepers at CV. X Malang. The research design was an observational analytic design using a cross sectional approach . The sample in this study were 35 respondents using a total sampling technique based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. Analysis of the results of the study used the ordinal regression test to determine the effect of standing work position and length of work on complaints of low back pain. Based on the results of the study, it is found that the risk data for standing work position of respondents has got moderate results as many as 33 people and low results as many as 2 people. While the results of respondents who have experienced low back pain are as many as 20 people and those who have experienced moderate low back pain were as many as 15 people. The result value of the ordinal regression test in the standing working position for low back pain is 0.000 > 0.05 and the result value for the length of work for low back pain is 0.005 > 0.05. It can be concluded that there is an influence between standing work position and length of work on low back pain on gold shop keepers at CV. X Malang.
