Abstract
ABSTRACT Sari, Dyah Santika. 2021. Correlation of Social Support with Self-Acceptance in Adolescents with Divorced Parents. Thesis. Nursing Study Program of Widyagama Husada School of Health. Advisors: 1) Frengki Apriyanto, S.Kep., Ners., M.Kes 2) Miftakhul Ulfa, S.Kep., Ners., M.Kep Background: East Java occupies the highest position in divorce cases in Indonesia. Divorce can have an impact on children, especially adolescents. Adolescents will be disappointed, restless and anxious so they may not feel comfortable staying at home. This makes them need social support from friends, parents or the closest one. Adolescents will feel that they are cared for, get advice, or have a pleasant impression on them so that a good self-acceptance arises for them to accept their condition. Objective: Find out the correlation between social support and self-acceptance in adolescents with divorced parents in Indonesia. Methods: This research is a type of literature review research. The strategy used is the PICOS Framework (Problem, Intervantion, Comparation, Outcome and Study design) by searching journals using keywords (AND, OR, OR NOT, AND NOT). The keywords used in this study are: "Self acceptance, social support, adolescent, parental divorce". The method in searching for article data sources is done through the sciencedirect database and google scholar. Results: The results of a literature review related to the correlation between social support and self-acceptance in adolescents with divorced parents showed that from 10 articles, there were 3 articles which stated that there was a correlation between social support in adolescents with divorced parents, 3 articles stated that there was a correlation between self-acceptance in adolescents with divorced parents and two journals researching self-acceptance with social support. Conclusion: Family structure is very influential for self-control and social support as a prevention of the adverse effects of parental divorce and social support has no effect on the age of the teenager. From social support aspect, information is most influential aspect while from self acceptance aspect, the most influential aspect are undenied impulses or emostions or feeling of guilty.
