Abstract

ABSTRACT Wailaba, Alexander Anjastria P. M. 2022. Literature Review on the correlation between Play Patterns and Independence of Preschool Children. Thesis. Nursing Education Study Program. Widyagama Husada School of Health. Advisors: (1) Ika Arum Dewi S., S.Kep.,Ns.,M.Biomed. (2) Rosly Zunaedi, S.Kep., Ners., M.Kep. Background: Independence is a thing or condition that can stand alone and is a characteristic that allows children not to depend on others. The child's lack of independence will cause difficulty in adapting to the environment which, indicaties the child s inability to solve simple problems on his own. Play is one of the external factors that support the achievement of children's independence. Research objective: To find out the correlation of play patterns with the independence of preschool children. Research methods: The research used literature study, the search engine/database used were Google Scholar and Science Direct in the last 10 years in Indonesian and English with keywords in the search that match ed the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Research result: The results of a literature review related to the correlation between play patterns and the independence of preschoolers showed that 10 articles (100%) concluded that playing patterns had no effect on the independence of preschoolers.
