Occupational health and safety must be implemented in the world of work and business by everyone in the work place. The impact that occurs if the Occupational Health and Safety (K3) aspect were not implemented is Occupational Diseases (PAK). One of occupational diseases (PAK) that appears most frequently is lower back pain. Lower back pain in the travel drivers often due to the long duration and driving in a static position. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of sitting position and the duration of work on low back pain in X travel driver in Malang City. This study design used observational analytic with cross sectional approach. Samples in this study consisted of 24 respondents using accidental sampling technique based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. Analysis of research results used logistic regression to determine the effect of sitting position and length of work duration on low back pain. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the ergonomic risk due to the sitting position of the respondents got moderate results is 23 people and high results is 1 person. The results obtained from respondents who experienced mild pain consisted of 6 people and those who experienced moderate pain consisted of 18 people. The value of the results of the logistic regression test in the sitting position on low back pain is 0.817 > 0.05 and the result value for long sitting on low back pain is 0.598 > 0.05, so there is no effect between sitting position and the length of work duration on low back pain to the X travel driver in Malang City. From the results of the study it can be concluded that there is no influence between sitting position and the length of work duration on low back pain.
