Abstract

ABSTRACT Sizeh, Noer. 2021. The Relationship of Online Learning Assistance with Stress Levels in Parents During the Covid-19 Pandemic in Pakis Malang. Undergraduate Thesis. Background: Covid-19 is a new type of virus and an infectious disease in Indonesia. The Covid-19 pandemic has had a negative impact on society so that all activities are carried out from home and all access to education is closed. The solution to keep carrying out activities is done online from their respective homes. The mentoring and teaching that must be done in fact makes a number of parents overwhelmed, especially for those who work or WFH so that it can increase stress on parents. Objective: To find out the relationship between online learning assistance and parental stress levels during the Covid-19 pandemic in Pakis Malang. Methods: This study uses a quantitative descriptive correlational approach with aapproach cross sectional, the measuring instrument in this study uses an online learning mentoring questionnaire and a PSS (Perceived Stress Scale)-14 questionnaire. Results: Results of the study of 50 respondents in conducting online learning assistance as many as 19 respondents indicated less (38%), 21 respondents indicated sufficient (42%), and as many as 10 respondents indicated good (20%). The stress level of parents was obtained as many as 6 respondents experienced mild stress (12%), as many as 14 respondents experienced moderate stress (28%), as many as 30 respondents experienced severe stress (60%). The p-value result is 0.000 (<0.05) so that Ho can be rejected and H1 accepted or significant between online learning assistance and the stress level of parents during the Covid-19 pandemic. The correlation value between online learning assistance and the stress level of parents during the Covid-19 pandemic in Pakis Malang is -0.548 which indicates that there is a relationship between the two variables that have a moderate correlation. Conclusion: There is a relationship between online learning assistance and the stress level of parents during the Covid-19 pandemic in Pakis Malang.
