Abstract
ABSTRACT Tolan, Yuliana Susana Ose. 2017. Comprehensive Midwifery Care to Mrs. “E” 22 Years Old in Soemidyah Ipung, Amd. Keb Midwife Practitioner Blimbing - Malang. Final Task. D3 Midwifery Study Program of Widyagama Husada School of Health Malang. Advisors : 1). Ervin Rufaindah, S. ST, M.Kes. 2). Wenny Rahmawati, S. Keb. Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) and Infant Mortality Rate (IMR) indicate the ability and health service quality in a country. The primary causes of mothers mortality are complications of pregnancy, giving birth and postpartum infection. While the babies mortality caused by infection and low weight birth. The purpose of Comprehensive Midwifery Care is to detect early complications and give obstetric midwifery care started from pregnancy until Family Planning programme to support mothers’ and babies’ health. The Method used in this study comprehensive Midwifery Care to Mrs. “E”, 22 years old G1 P0000 Ab000 in Soemidyah Ipung, Amd. Keb Midwife Practitioner in April until Juli 2017 was Continuity of Care Approach started from pregnancy, child birth, post partum, new born until Family Planning. All processes were documented by using SOAP note. The care was done in 12 home visits, four visits during pregnancy, one visit for intranatal, four visits during post natal, three visits in neonatus, and one visit for Family Planning. After midwifery care was done, it is known that the pregnancy of Mrs. “E” was physiological. The process of giving birth run smoothly, but the baby was not given early initiation of breast feeding and directly bathed. The baby boy was born normally, weighted 4,000 gram, 50 cm- height, and 7-9 APGAR Score. To avoid the infection the baby was given eye drop, Hb 0 immunization and vitamin K injection. Puerperal period run normally and there was no complication found. The patient chosed condom as Family Planning contraception. Based of Continuity of Care hopefully midwives can give consultation to patient from pregnancy until Family Planning and update their knowledge of health, so they can apply it in Continuity of Care. The patient should be always active check her condition to the nearer midwife and follow the suggestion to decrease maternal and infan mortality rate in our country.
