Abstract
ABSTRACT Bili, Yulita Agustina. 2017. Comprehensive Midwifery Care to Mrs.“S” 38 Years Old At Kenny, S. ST.,S.Psi Midwife Practitioner Malang. Final Task. D3 Midwifery Study Program of Widyagama Husada School of Health. Adsvisors:1. Yuniar Angelia, P.S. SiT, M. Kes. 2: Sendityah Indah M, S. SiT Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) and Infant Mortality Rate (IMR) in Indonesia are still very high and has not yet reached the target of Millennium Development Goals (MDGS) in 2015. In 2014 MMR in Malang was 135/100,000 live births and IMR was under 17/1000 live births. One of the efforts to solve this problem is by applying continous midwifery care from pregnancy to family planning. Hopefully, by doing Comprehensive Midwifery Care we can improve maternal and child health so that MMR and IMR can be lowered. The midwifery care to Mrs."S" 38 years old in Kenny Soedijono, S.ST.,S.Psi midwife practitioner from April - July 2017 by Continuity of care (COC), started from the third trimester of pregnancy, childbirth, newborn, postpartum, and Family Planning. Midwifery care was conducted in 12 visits that consisted of four visits during pregnancy, one visit at the time of childbirth, four visits during postpartum, two visits on the newborn periode, and one visit for Family Planning. In pregnancy periode mother complained of back pain, frequent urination and contraction. Postpartum run physiologically, mother just experieced insomnia so she was given consultation, information and education in order to cope with her inconvience. The baby boy born on 22 nd May 2017 at 9.20 o’clock by spontan delivery weighced 3,400 gr, 50 cm height and Apgar score 7-8. Mother chosed Intra Uterin Device (IUD) as her contraception for Family Planning. Based on the study of Comprehensive Midwife Care it is resulted that the process of pregnancy up to Family Planning run physiologically. Midwife expected to improve services as well as maintaining the quality of service of midwifery obstetrics and patients have an awareness about the importance of conducting care and examination of pregnancy to Family Planning to the health workers.
