Abstract
SUMMARY Mite, Maria Yurniati. 2017. Comprehensive Midwifery Care to Mrs “R” 22 Years Old in Mrs. Soemidyah Ipung Amd. Keb Midwife Practitioner Malang. Final Task. D3 Midwifery Study Program of Widyagama Husada School of Health Malang. Advisors: 1). Yuniar Angelia P,S.SiT. M. Kes, 2). Dwi Norma Retnaningrum, S.ST. Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) and Infant Mortality Rate (IMR) in Indonesia are still very high. The biggest cause of maternal mortality is bleeding and the cause of infant mortality is Low Weight Birth. One of the government's efforts to reduce Maternal Mortality Rate and Infant Mortality Rate is by empowering families and communities using Mother and Child Card (KIA) books. Besides, it also conducts Comprehensive Midwifery Care to provide the care from pregnancy to Family Planing. This research aimed to train the writer to apply Continuity of Care in order to reduce Maternal Mortality Rate and Infant Mortality Rate in Indonesia. Comprehensive Midwifery Care provided to Mrs "R", age 21 years at Midwife Practitioner Soemidyah from April-July 2017 performed in 12 visits, consisting of four visits during the third trimester of pregnancy, one visit at delivery, four visits during childbirth, two visits on Newborn baby and one visit for Family Planning. Comprehensive Midwifery Care in this study done directly from assessment, early detection for potential problems, diagnosis, midwifery care planning, implementation, evaluation and documentation with SOAP management approach. After Continuous Midwifery Care to Mrs "R" it can be concluded that pregnancy was normal eventhough examination on Uterus Fundus height is incompatible with gestational age, so the mother was encouraged to pay attention and improve the nutrition. The delivery process was normal, occurred on May, 30 th 2017 at 05.15 o’clock in Midwife Practitioner Soemidyah it which a baby boy weighed 3600gr, 48cm height was in normal condition. Baby got jaundice, to prevent it early initiation of breastfeeding and drying the baby in the morning was done. Puerperium process was in physiological state. Mother chosed Condom as the contraception for Family Planning and had no complication in it. Based on Comprehensive Midwifery Care, it is hoped that early detection of maternal and child health complications will be able to reduce Maternal Mortality Rate and Infant Mortality Rate in Indonesia.
