Abstract
SUMMARY Asnani, Handita. 2017. Comprehensive Midwifery Care to Mrs. “W” 18 Years Old with Early Postpartum Hemorrhage at Midwife Practitioner Soemidyah Ipung, Amd. Keb Malang City. Final Task. D3 Midwifery Study Program of Widyagama Husada School of Health Malang. Advisors: 1). Yuniar Angelia P, S.SiT, M. Kes. 2). Nicky Danur J, S.ST. In 2016 Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) in East Java reached 93,52/100,000 live births, Infant Mortality Rate (IMR) reached 29.5/1,000 live births. In 2016 MMR in Malang reached 50,68/100.000 live births, while IMR reached 7,27/1000 live births. Objective of the final task is giving Comprehensive Midwifery Care during pregnancy, labor, newborn, postpartum and Family Planning by using Varney theory and SOAP documentation. Comprehensive Midwifery Care started from April to June 2017, was given to Mrs. “W”, age of 18 years old at BPM Soemidyah Ipung, Amd. Keb. It based on the results of preliminary study which had found the score of 2 KSPR that indicated a physiological pregnancy. Midwifery care was conducted through 12 visits, it included 4 visits during pregnancy, 1 visit at labor, 2 visits in newborn period, 4 visits during postpartum and 2 visits for Family Planning program. The results of midwifery care given to Mrs. “W” obtained the data that during pregnancy in the third trimester the mother complained frequent urination. At labor mother got bleeding ± 500 cc so there was a treatment of infusion, also vaginal and cervical exploration to stop bleeding. At newborn period a baby boy weighed 3000 gr and 50 cm high was in normal condition. Postpartum indicated normal condition, and the mother used 3 month injection as her Family Planning contraception. There was no gap between theory and practice. In this case midwives can improve obstetric care of the mother from pregnancy to Family Planning in accordance with the standards of midwifery care. Hopefully, Comprehensive Midwifery Care will reduce MMR and IMR according to the original purpose of the this study.
