Abstract
ABSTRACT Astuti, Dini Yuli., 2017. Environmental Factors Associated with Dengue Event in Work Area of Janti Public Health Center of Malang City. Thesis. S1 Environmental Health Study Program of Widyagama Husada School of Health Malang. Advisors: (1) Misbahul Subhi, S. KM., M (2) Rahma Ika Pratiwi, S. KL Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is one of the infectious diseases that become health problems in the world. In 2016 there were 464 cases of dengue fever in Malang city with highest occurrence was in Janti public Health Center Janti, there were 49 cases. Environmental factors that affect the incidence of DHF diseases include the physical environment, biological and socioeconomic. This study aimed at identifying the environmental factors of DHF based on the physical, biological and social environment, in the area of Janti public health center Malang. This research was descriptive observational research with quantitative approach and sample was taken by purposive sampling technique, they were 25 sample. Data of research result was presented as it was with data analysis includen mean (Mean), mode, median, frequency / percentage. Result of this research indicated that factors related to DHF incidence were, presence of container 25 (100%), existence of hanging clothes 25 (100%) existence of ornamental plants 14 (56%), plants in yard 4 (16%), cleansing page 24 (96%), cleaning water container 24 (96%) and 3M plus 13 (52%) behavior with DHF incidence at Janti public health center Malang. It is expected that the public will pay more attention to the environment condition in the house and to do 3M movement. The public health center is suggested to increase its role in providing health education to the community about dengue fever, the factors that cause dengue fever and prevention and effort to eliminate dengue fever from environmental factors, and society is expected to pay more attention to 3M plus activities and the implementation of PSN-DHF independently and regularly.
