Abstract
SUMMARY Herdiana, Dyah. 2017. Comprehensive Midwifery Care to Mrs “S” 26 Years Old in Soemidyah Ipung, Amd.Keb. Midwife Practitioner Malang City. Final Task. D3 Midwifery Study Progam of Widyagama Husada School of Health Malang. Advisors: (1) Patemah, S. SiT. M.Kes ,(2) Nicky DJ S.SiT. The result of Indonesian demographic and health survey in 2012 indicated that Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) reached 346 every 1000 live birth, and Infant Mortality Rate (IMR) was 32 every 1000 live birth. The rate was still quite high compared with neighboring countries in ASEAN (Health Statistic, 2012). The number of pregnant women in Malang city in 2015 was 17.757, the MMR was 9, number of neonatus were 11.953, and IMR was 87. One effort that can be done to improve the quality of health services for the mother and children is conducting midwifery care comprehensively so that midwife can monitor and detect early complication that may occur. The general objectives of the final task was the student was able to apply comprehensive midwifery care to pregnant women, labor, postpartum, newborn baby and Family Planning in accordance with standard of midwifery care. The midwifery care was given to Mrs. "S" during 12 visits that were conducted comprehensively from pregnancy until Family Planning. In the third trimester there were 4 visits, 1 visit during labor, 4 visits in postpartum, 2 visits in newborn baby, and 1 visit in Family Planning program. The care was documented using SOAP midwifery management. Comprahensive midwifery care results in Antenatal Care visit indicated normal examination results. The labor was normal. Postpartum and newborn period were also normal. The mother used IUD as her Family Planning. The results of midwifery care given to Mrs. “S” from pregnancy until Family Planning were physiological. It is expected that health workers can maintain and improve services according to midwifery care standards to reduce the number of maternal and infant mortality in Indonesia.
