Abstract
SUMMARY Syahida ,Anni. 2017. Comprehensive Midwifery Care with Continuity Of Careto Mrs."L" Age 33 Years Old in Midwife Practitioner Sofiana, AMd. Keb. Malang. Final Task. D3 Midwifery Study Program of Widyagama Husada School of Health Malang. Advisors: 1). Yuniar Angelia P,S.ST,M.KES 2). Nicky Danur Jayanti S.ST Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) and Infant Mortality Rate (IMR) are indicators to assess health status of a country. Indonesian MMR in 2016 was 9 per 17757 live births and the IMR reached 87 per 11953 live births. The purpose of midwifery care is to provide compherensive obstetric care in the third trimester of pregnancy, childbirth, newborn, postpartum, and Family Planning . The methods of compherensive midwifery care to Mrs.”L” was conductedby doing 10 home visits.one visits during pregnancy normal results of data obtained from secondary and books KIA, one visit at the time of delivery, four visits during postpartum, two visits during newborn, and two visits for Family Planning process, in which the mother used three month injection method. There was no complain in all processes because everything was in physiological and documented in the form of SOAP note. Based on the Compherensive Midwifery Care found that the height of uterus (TFU) was in accordance with the length of the pregnancy. The blood pressure was normal, but mother complained about swollen foot. The labor was physiological and no complication in I-IV stage. It happened in may 25 2017, lasted in 5,5 hours. On postpartum there was no problem, but on the fourth day of the visits the patient complained of dizziness, so the midwifery gave counceling, information, and education. There was no problem in the newborn, during the visits baby’s weight increased according to the theory, mother did breastfeeding exlusively and sunbathed the baby in the morning. After giving counceling, information, and education about Family Planning mother decided to use three month injection method. The conclusion of midwifery care in Mrs.”L” has been reached well. Midwife is suggested to be able to improve the comfortable and better service. She had to convince the patient about the importance of compherensive midwifery care from antenatal until Family Planning to reduce MMR and IMR.
