Abstract
SUMMARY Parera, Anita. 2017. Comprehensive Midwifery Care to Mrs "N" G ll PI00I Ab000 23 Years Old in Midwifery Practitioner Soemidyah Ipung, Amd. Keb Malang. Final Task. D3 Midwifery Study Program of Widyagama School of Health. Advisors :1). Yuniar Angelia P, S.SiT, M.Kes 2). Septiana Juwita, S.SiT,MPH Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) and Infant Mortality Rate (IMR) indicatesthe ability and quality of health services in a country. Continuity of Midwifery Caremethod can reduce the problem of MMR and IMR which are still high by providing midwifery care comprehensively to support mothers and babie’s health. The purpose of this study is to implement a comprehensive care management to the patient started from pregnant periode until familly planning programme. Midwifery care to Mrs. “N” started in March-July 2017. The Care provided totally 12 visits in a comprehensive manner from the third trimester of pregnancy , childbirth, postpartum, newborn care, and familly planning. All processes documented through midwifery management in the form of SOAP note. When Antenatal Care (ANC) the researcher got the data from Mother and Children Health book. Based on the study it showed that at the first visit, midwife monitored the labor by using partograf started form 1 th – 4 th stage of labor process. Therewere 4 visits in postnatal periode and two visits in newborn care, in both periode there were physical condition and vital signs examination, and also giving counceling. During the process of pregnancy until birth there were no serious complications or problems. All test results are within normal limits. There were only complains of backpain. Patient decided to use IUD as familly p lanning contraception. Due to the result of this study, midwife is expected to improve the knowledge and skills in conducting a comprehensive care in pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum, new born and family planning to reduce Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) and Infant Mortality Rate (IMR) in Indonesia.
