Abstract
SUMMARY Khusmawati, Ida. 2019. Comprehensive Midwifery Care to Mrs. "W" 24 Years Old Premature Delivery at Siti Nurcahyaningsih Murdijono, Amd.Keb Midwife Practitioner Malang. Final Task. DIII Midwifery Study Program of Widyagama Husada School of Health. Advisior 1 : Bd. Wenny Rahmawati, M.Keb. Advisior 2 : Jiarti Kusbandiyah S.SiT, M.Kes. In 2017 the maternal mortality rate reached 305/100,000 live births. The figure was considered to be three times higher than Indonesia's ASEAN Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) target of 102/100,000 live births. The results of Indonesia's demographic and health survey in 2017 showed an infant mortality rate of 24/1,000 live births. The objective of this study is one of the efforts to overcome the high maternal and infant mortality rates was to implemented comprehensive midwifery care mother and baby, to provided comprehensive midwifery care started from pregnancy until family planning programme to reduced maternal and infant mortality rates. Comprehensive midwifery care to Mrs. "W" 24 years old began in third trimester of pregnancy from March to July 2019 at the patient's home and Siti Nurcahyaningsih Murdijono Amd.Keb Midwifery practitioner. Midwifery care was done in 13 visits, consisting of 3 visits during pregnancy, 1 childbirth visit, 4 post partum visits, 3 newborn visits and 2 family planning visits. Comprehensive midwifery care was based on Varney management and documented in SOAP format. Comprehensive midwifery care conducted to Mrs. "W" showed that the pregnancy was a high risk pregnancy it can be showed at 10 KSPR score as the history of sectio caesarean delivery 5 years ago. The results of pregnancy examinations was normal and there was fake contraction in 31 weeks and 1 day gestation. The process of normal labor was occured in 36 weeks and 2 days (preterm). The puerperal period physiologically even though the lochea secretion was obstructed on 6 until 13 post partum day. Premature weak suction baby, and it can be a problem for providing exclusive breastfeeding. It influenced to the decrease of lactation. The patient chosed 3-month injection contraception and there were no complaints. Comprehensive midwifery care performed to Mrs. "W" 24 years old succeeded effectively, it was expected that midwives can provide counseling in accordance with the standards of comprehensive midwifery care.
