Abstract

ABSRTACT Jela, Evlin M. 2019. The Relationship of Family's Role to Child Readiness Facing Early Menstruation in Elemetary School 5 Lowokwaru Malang. Nursing Program of Widyagama Husada Health Sciece College. Advisors I: Ns. Miftakhul Ulfa, S.Kep., Ners., M.Kep. II: Ns. Ika Arum Dewi, S.Kep., M.Biomed Introduction: Based on the results of a study in Jember, 70% of respondents not ready for menstruation. The results of preliminary research conducted at Elementary School 5 Lowokwaru in Malang showed that students not ready to face early menstruation and did not get enough information from families to menstruation. Obective: was to know is a relationship between the role of a young family with a forwardness the menstruation in Elemetary School 5 Lowokwaru Malang City. Research Method : Method using Cross Sectonal Study. With responden study school girl grade III, IV and V in SDN Lowokwaru Malang City. With simple size of 51 people, tecnique sampling approach Purposive Sampling. Data retrieval is a questionnaire. Data analysis techniques use is Kontingensi test. Results: good familly 24 people (47%) which affect the readiness of the child 18 people (36%). Korelasi test make kontingensi, the huge correlation going on between the two variables is r=0,568 and value of p=0,000. Conclusion : there is a relationship between the role of a young family with a forward the menstruation in Elemetary School 5 Lowokwaru Malang City. Suggestion : To families specifically for parents to build good and effective communication with children, so that their sense of growth for parents makes it easier for them to communicate related to recovery issues.
