Abstract
ABSTRACT Pamungkas, Dhory Julio. 2021. The Relationship Knowledge and Attitude of Workers In Effort To Control Water Pollution In PROPER At PT. PAL Indonesia (Persero). Thesis. S1. Environmental Health Study Program. Widyagama Husada School of Health and Science Malang. Advisors: 1. Misbahul Subhi, S. KM., M. KL, 2. Devitasari, ST., MM A good living environment will have a positive impact on the business operations of a company. The company’s concern for the environment is also called environmental perfomance. The good poor measure of the company’s environmental performance can be seen from the company’s achievements in following PROPER in environmental management. The purpose of this study is to find out the relationship of knowledge and attitudes of workers in effort to control water pollution in PROPER at PT. PAL Indonesia (Persero). This study used an analytical descriptive design with a cross sectional approach. The research sample amounted to 44 people taken by simple sampling technique. The instrument used was an questionnaire sheet. The analysis technique used the Spearman correlation test. The result shows that the most knowledge was in quite category, 18 people (40,9%), the most attitude was in good category, 40 people (90,9%), and the most effort to control water pollution was in good category, 43 people (97,7%). Based on the Spearman correlation test, knowledge and attitude variables have a relationship with effort to control water pollution with a significance value of knowledge (0,01) and significance value of attitude (0,00). So it can be concluded that there is a relationship between knowledge and attitude with the effort to control water pollution at PT. PAL Indonesia (Persero). It is expected that the company will pay more attention to the condition of water sources around and in the company’s area.
