Abstract
SUMMARY Nurlita, Wiwied Dian. 2017 Comprehensive Midwifery Care to Mrs “Y” 25 th Years Old In Midwife Practitioner Masturoh. Tajinan Malang. Final Task. D3 Midwifery Study Program of Widyagama Husada School of Health Malang. Advisors (1) Septiana Juwita, S.SiT,M.PH. Pembimbing (2) Dwi Norma R, S.ST. Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) and Infant Mortality Rate (IMR) in Indonesia still quite high. The target of Millenium Development Goals (MDG’s) still has not been achieved. Indonesia has a program to reduce MMR and IMR called comprehensive midwifery care, a complete examination consisting of physical examination, laboratory or auxiliary examination, and counseling covering five continuous activities such as midwifery care of pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum, newborn, and family planning. The goals is to give a midwifery comprehensive care, that provide care directly and continuously to the mother during her pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum, newborn and family planning. Implementation of the standard of care was done in accordance with the logic of the midwifery care stated by Varney and documented in the form of SOAP notes. Midwifery care given to Mrs “Y” done 13 visits comprehensively from pregnancy until family planning. On third trimesters, 4 visits to pregnancy, 1 visit during maternity, 4 visits during postpartum, 2 visits during newborn, and 2 visits during family planning. During the process of comprehensive care to Mrs “Y” there was not any pathological condition in terms of physical examination and subjective data, the delivery of Mrs "Y" was a precipitous delivery, but there were not any problems caused that can be endanger the condition of the mother due to precipitate delivery. All of the procedurs were also confirmed with the existing theory. Midwife was expected to analyze, to detect early and to provide standard care customized to client’s condition. Client was expected to be able to differenciate pathological and physiological conditions.
