Abstract
SUMMARY Werang, Maria Martina Lito. 2017. Comprehensive Midwifery Care to Mrs. “A” 25 Years Old from Antenatal Care until Family Planning in Midwife Practitioner Sri Hartatik, Amd, Keb. Blimbing - Malang. Final Task. D3 Midwifery Study Program of Widyagama Husada School of Health Malang. Advisors : 1). Jiarti Khusbandiyah, S. SiT.M.Kes. 2). Senditya Indah M, S. SiT. Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) and Infant Mortality Rate (IMR) indicate the ability and health service quality in a country. The primary causes of mothers mortality are complications of pregnancy, giving birth and postpartum infection. While the babies mortality caused by infection and low birth weight. The magnitude of the incidence of pregnant out of wedlock to students, especially in Malang, makes the authors interested in midwifery care due to rarely the mother to do the examination of her pregnancy. It is related to the purpose of comprehensive midwifery care is to detect early complications and to give obstetric midwifery care, to improve service and to reduce MMR and IMR. One of the effort to reduce the problem is by providing comprehensive midwifery care. The Method used in this study comprehensive obstetric care to Mrs. “A”, 25 years old started from pregnancy, child birth, post partum, new born until family planning with Continuity of Care approach. All processes were documented by using SOAP note. The care was done in 10 home visits, 3 visits during pregnancy, one visit for intranatal, 4 visits during post natal, two visits in neonatus, and one visit for family planning. Midwifery care was done from June to August 2017. After midwifery care was done, it was known that the pregnancy of Mrs. “A” was physiological. The process of giving birth run smoothly, but the baby was given early initiation of breast feeding, straightly bathed. The baby was born normally, weighed 3200 gram, 52 cm- height, and 7-9 Apgar Score. To avoid the infection the baby was given eye drop and Hb 0 immunization, yet for vitamin K injection. Puerperal period run well and there was not any complication. The patient chosed condom as family planning contraception. Finally, midwife is expected to give counselling to the patient from the pregnancy period up to family planning and follow the progress of health science to be applied. The patient should have an active role by doing routine check up and obey the recommendation.
